River In Winter

Original Design by  Janet Johnson

Teacher: Janet Johnson

Level: Beginner to Intermediate

Medium: Watercolour

Date: Saturday Mar 2, 2024

Time:  9:30am to 12:30pm

Description:  This landscape painting is approximately 7.5" square but can be enlarged.  It is painted with a limited palette and since there is so much white in the painting the student will have the challenge of working with predominently one colour.  A wet-on-wet technique is used to create a winter glow in the sky and masking fluid will be used.
